Sam Reece is a comedian, writer, and creator of the viral TikTok account Shitty Craft Club. Her work has been featured in InStyle Magazine, Forbes Under 30, on TV shows like Comedy Central’s “The Other Two”, and in many national commercials.
Alongside her writing partner Becky Chicoine, Sam has written for HBO Max, Comedy Central, Audible Originals and for comedians like Amy Schumer and Ilana Glazer. They came up together as writers and performers at the Upright Citizens Brigade and grew into the critically acclaimed musical comedy duo Girls with Brown Hair. They continue to headline comedy shows on stages (and in basements) all over the country.
Originally from Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Las Vegas (she’s confused too), little Sam really believed she’d be the next soccer star like Mia Hamm OR figure skating star like Tara Lapinski, but, as it turns out, she’s actually grown up to be the “glue beads to trash” star. Sam lives in Brooklyn or Los Angeles (depending on when you read this) with her wonderful partner and two cats who really don’t enjoy each other. She has been gay since 2019 (or since she suggested “maybe we all practice kissing a few times a week” at summer camp in 2004). She’s also allergic to avocados!
