Dan Lish is an English artist who has worked within the creative industry for over 25 years, with a client list that includes Lucas Arts, Sony, Activision, Rockstar Games, and the BAFTA Award-winning Bossa Studios. He has also worked with many artists in the music industry, creating artwork for album covers and singles by De La Soul, Bootsy Collins, Tony Allen, Mixmaster Mike, Omar, The Roots, Rakim, the Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, and many more. Since 1984, Dan has created murals worldwide, favoring the medium of spray can and liquid acrylic pens— including, most recently, several that have been painted across Brighton and Hove.

After the success of his crowd-funded art book Egostrip in 2022, Dan was invited to display and auction his artwork at the groundbreaking show “The Art and Influence of Hip Hop” at Sotheby’s in New York City, where he showcased twelve original artworks. In June 2023, he had his first solo show at Brighton Gallery 242.

Dan is currently producing Egostrip Book 2, a larger volume encompassing many years of Hip Hop culture and music-inspired artwork, and continues to help authors, gaming companies, and musicians to bring their visions to life.
