Lorielle Broussard’s first entrepreneurial endeavor was selling candy on the bus to and from elementary school in Houston, Texas. She continued to develop her business and networking skills while throwing parties as a student at Spelman College, and in recent years, as a stylist/costume designer for TV, film and music with acts like Ciara. Most recently, she was the CEO and designer of Barack the Vote, LLC. She was responsible for managing and executing the creative direction of the company as well as overseeing its day-to-day operations.
While Lorielle furthers her career in costume design and wardrobe styling, she has been exposed to the many different career paths that TV & Film have to offer. She began her path in TV working on Law & Order: Los Angeles in the costumes department and just recently as the Costume Coordinator on ABC’s Body of Proof. She is also a producer as well as the costume designer for Purple Stuff TV, a current news comedy sketch web-series, created by her brother, Brandon Broussard.
Lorielle considers herself as a stylish, trendsetting, socially conscious, fearless woman from the South who does not hold her tongue and lives her dreams to make them a reality while trying to make a small difference one step at a time in this world.
