And Yet, You Still Chose Me, the novel inspired by Kimberly Ray’s life, was written with the objective of reaching an even greater number of men, women and children who feel they have no hope, no self-worth, and no purpose in life, due to the abusive and oppressive conditions in which they are living, or which they experienced in the past.
Ms. Ray has appeared as a sought-after, keynote speaker for several Womens Conferences throughout the U.S. She has traveled to South Africa speaking to women/young girls who have a hunger and a thirst to know why they should continue to hope. She plans to continue her international journey outreach to South Africa and here in the states!She has taught at The Philadelphia Women prison, Indianapolis Women prison, The girls school here in Indianapolis and beyond.
Kimberly Ray is a graduate of the Priscilla Institute of Eastern Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, PA with a Diploma in Pastoral Studies.Ms.Rays vision and plans are to open a Academy for at-risk young people, called Dream Academy, which will provide an after-school safe haven where children/young adults will have an opportunity to receive counseling, academic tutoring and further education in the some of the arts, like film production and writing. Ultimately, each child will gain both a spiritual and practical teachings so they can pursue their dreams and ambitions.
