Isoul Harris, a graduate of Morehouse College (B.A. in English) and New York University (M.A. in English Education), Isoul H. Harris has made a name for himself over the past 10 years as an entertainment writer and magazine editor. He is currently the Senior Editor of UPTOWN magazine, a national luxury lifestyle and entertainment publication. He was formerly the Managing Editor of 944 Magazine as well as the Entertainment Editor of Niche Media’s PEACH Magazine in Atlanta; both publications were considered as top tier in the general market arena.
He also served as the Entertainment Editor of Upscale Magazine, one of the top four urban magazines in the country. He was the first Editor-in-Chief of rolling out Urbanstyle Weekly, the largest urban weekly in the country. He was also a reporter for People Magazine, which reaches over 30 million readers weekly and an Entertainment Correspondent for Boost Mobile’s online community, Boostmobile.com.
He has interviewed several of the most prominent personalities in the world of arts & entertainment, including Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Will Smith, Drew Barrymore, Usher, Maya Angelou, Beyoncé, Owen Wilson, Cee-Lo, Gus Van Sant, Outkast, Queen Latifah, Vin Diesel, Ice Cube, and Brandy. He is a former columnist for AOL’s Black Voices.com and his work has also been featured in The New York Post’s revered Page Six, InStyle, Vibe, MSNBC.com, and he has appeared as a guest expert on CNN’s Headline News.
